i stared up to the night sky,it was dull and gray, the usual
you came near me, you asked why
said it was fine, said i was normal.
time flew away like a mocking bird,
soon enough your voice was all i heard
i told a joke, and you simply lauged
i looked silly, i thought i was daft
never have i seen a brighter face,
one that illuminated me so
a star on this lonely earth, i saw
i want to remain in this time and space.
under these artificial clouds i breathe,
i don't feel i am anywhere beneath
my dark and gloomy sky of gray,
turned into a one-star milky way
